Who we are
AdmiralOS is an SEO platform owned and operated by Fast Frigate LLC, Burlington, Vermont ("Fast Frigate", "we", "us"). This policy covers the AdmiralOS website at admiralos.ai and the app at app.admiralos.ai.
Questions about this policy or your data go to chris@fastfrigate.com.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name and email address, and the workspace you belong to.
- What you put into the app. Projects, websites, keywords, notes, reports, and your conversations with Bosun, the in-app agent.
- Usage and technical data. Basic logs such as request times, errors, and the pages you use, so we can keep the service running and fix problems.
- Google data, only if you connect a Google account. Described in the next section.
Google user data
AdmiralOS only reaches your Google data after you choose to connect a Google account and approve the request on Google's own consent screen. You can connect Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, any mix of them, or none.
What we access today
- Your Google account email, name and profile picture, so we can show you which account is connected.
- Google Search Console, read-only. The list of sites you have access to, search performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, position), sitemap status, and URL inspection results for the property you select.
- Google Analytics 4, read-only. The list of properties you have access to and report data (such as sessions, traffic sources, and conversions) for the property you select.
- Google Business Profile. A separate connection with its own consent screen. We read the list of business accounts and locations you manage and, for each profile you link to a location in AdmiralOS, its details (name, categories, address, phone, website and menu links, hours, services, description, photo count and status flags) and its reviews, including any replies already posted.
The Search Console and Analytics connections are read-only. AdmiralOS cannot change anything in those accounts.
What we can change in Google Business Profile
One thing: AdmiralOS can publish a post to a linked profile. A post is published only after someone in your workspace has approved its exact text, and then only when a person presses Publish or at the time they scheduled. AdmiralOS does not edit your profile details, and it does not post replies to reviews. Reply drafts you write stay in AdmiralOS until you copy them into Google yourself.
We re-read each linked profile about once a day so we can tell you when its name, address, hours or other key details change. We keep a dated copy of what we read as the record behind each recommendation.
Why we access it
We use Google data for one purpose: to show you, and the teammates in your workspace, how your website and business profiles perform in search and what to do about it. That covers dashboards, audits, change alerts, reports you ask for, posts you approve, and answers from Bosun when you ask it a question about your site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting, personalized ads, or interest-based ads.
- We do not use Google user data to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not let people read your Google user data, except with your permission, when it is needed for security or to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
Who else handles it
We share Google user data only as needed to run the features you use:
- Cloudflare hosts the app and its database.
- Our AI model provider processes the data that is part of a question you ask Bosun, so Bosun can answer it. If you never ask Bosun about your Search Console or Analytics data, none is sent.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
Google API Services User Data Policy
AdmiralOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
- Google access tokens are stored encrypted and kept until you remove the Google account from AdmiralOS or your account is deleted.
- Search Console and Analytics data is fetched from Google when you open a screen or ask for a report. We do not keep a standing copy of it in our database.
- Business Profile copies, reviews and drafts. The dated copies of a linked profile, its reviews, your reply drafts and your posts stay in your workspace until the location is deleted or your account is deleted.
- Figures you save, for example in a report you create or in a conversation with Bosun, stay in your workspace until you delete that report or conversation, or your account is deleted.
- Account and project data is kept while your account is open.
- Deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
Disconnecting Google and deleting your data
- Disconnect a property. In the app, open your project's settings, go to Integrations, and choose Disconnect next to Search Console or Google Analytics.
- Unlink a Business Profile. On the Locations page, choose Unlink next to the profile. AdmiralOS stops reading it. Posts already published stay on Google until you remove them there.
- Remove the Google account. On the same screen, choose Remove account. This deletes the stored tokens for that Google account from AdmiralOS.
- Revoke access at Google. You can also remove AdmiralOS at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- Delete everything. Email chris@fastfrigate.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We erase your account, your projects, and your stored Google tokens, and we revoke those tokens with Google.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit. Google tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run the service, and the app is only reachable by invited accounts.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
AdmiralOS is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change affects Google user data, we will tell connected users before it takes effect and ask for consent where Google's policy requires it.
